Ayurveda is considered to be the wellspring of all natural healing systems. Starting around 1980, Indian Ayurvedic physicians gathered with Maharishi Mahesh Yogi to authenticate this precious science according to the original Vedic texts. The result is embodied in the aproach to health found in the document: *Our Unique Approach, on the web site of the Maharishi University of Management. This system includes all aspects of this holistic health science with an emphasis on prevention and the full development of the mind and body, as a comprehensive health-care system that relies on a vast and complete range of 20 natural approaches for creating total health by balancing the mind, body, behavior, and environment.
